A weekend away from the plot didn't mean a weekend wasted however, while most of it was spent avoiding the rain by decorating our smallest bedroom there was time on Sunday to catch up with the sowing. The first planting of peas (Sugar Bon (snap) and Reuzensuiker Mangetout) went into some saved loo rolls while three varieties of tomato (Sub Arctic Plenty, Sungella and Suncherry Premium F1) were also started off in cells along with some lovely peppers (Tasty Grill Red F1). This spurt of activity pretty much filled the propagator as you can see (I can't wait to get all those spuds in the ground to free up some space!).

The weather is looking good this week so there should be plenty of chances to get some plot time in each evening gearing up to the weekend when things like onion sets and possibly some early potatoes should find their way into the ground.

OOh busy, busy, busy! I'm glad someone else also makes use of their loo roll innards!
Oh yes! I've never been so keen to see people use the loo in my life... I'm even 'stealing' them from work when I can extract them without anyone looking at me strangley... ;)
Paul, thats great! I only just survived OH's concern over the egg boxes so I have now started a stealthy loo roll collection (i might even have enough to plant something in next year!
Can't believe how much you have growing already, it won't be long before you start eating it all.
Hope the plot turned out to be free from storm damage.
All that sowing is looking great, very organised!! I agree about getting the spuds in, it'll be nice to get them out of the way, this time of year there just isn't enough space. Hope you have a good weekend, fingers crossed for some decent weather.
Great to see so much progress - you are putting me to shame!
It'll be all outside growing like nuts soon eh! You won't be able to move for bell peppers.
looks like your planting is going well. Having a greenhouse is excellent BUT all the panels did get blown out in the wind so had to bring all my veg plants in and TRY and find room.
