Here's the BBC Weather sites view on the next few days, depressing eh!
With any luck it won't be raining first thing Saturday morning and I can pop up to the plot early and do a bit of work before the ground gets too wet. Of course whatever happens there are still jobs to be done even in bad weather, there's a load of seeds due to be sown at home for a start so I'm sure we'll keep nice and busy.
What we need is an allotment with a retractable roof!

Any better? Looks bad for Monday, you're getting torrential rain.

Sorry, this is a better way of doing the link.
I KNOW! So much to do, so little sunshine... I had big plans for this weekend on the plot but I've got a nasty feeling it's all going to have to wait. Cross fingers and see what it's like in the morning I suppose...
Thankfully I was able to do a few hours on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. It was still hard going and sticky in places then! With all the rain forecast I don't think any of us are going to be able to do much until next weekend!
Have a good weekend! Cheers.
Did you manage to get in before the rain? I was too slow and now that the sun is out the ground looks far too wet. Ah well there are plenty of seeds to sow. Hope you survive the gales :)
I bet you managed to get out there today after all - even if it was to batten down the hatches before tomorrow's storm!
I look forward to hearing how you got on :)
Its was so sunny and warm in Castleford - you should live oop north!
great blog by the way! I'm learning things off you and Amy @ Souper!
